How I challenged bloating and belly fat

Over the years  I've experienced challenges with bloating and belly fat.  Regular occurrence of flatulence, pain and a big tummy were perplexing. Fasting and strict dieting did not solve the problem.  I eventually came to the conclusion that is how my body is designed. Therefore, I should accept it. My aha moment came in December 2015 when I viewed the photos I had taken at Dunn's River Falls. The photos told  a story... spare tyres were forming on my body!   In my scheme of things, that ring of fat, that hangs around the waist and under arms, is not acceptable. Now its time to fight back. I took a decision then to improve my physical image. I began by researching the internet for solutions to my current problem.  Firstly,  I researched the foods that were recommended for my blood type.  In addition, I researched the foods that were integral to my diet and eliminated the gas producing foods, even if they are rated as healthy...

A Time to Love

February, " a time to Love " Love endures all things, believes all things, hopes all things 1 Cor. 3:7.  Is this instructive? Yes. Its agape. February has been a memorable and love filled month.   Spent quality time with family. Connected with relatives and friends. Posted my first video on social media (15 comments).  Started blogging (56 views ). Bought a new book.  Girls night out. My son who flew the coop visited and we enjoyed a short vacation bonding and rejuvenating.  The four hour road trip to Negril, Westmoreland was enticing.  We stopped several times for refreshments and reached our villa in the afternoon.  Watched the sunset; enjoyed roadside food and dining, sipped pina colada and enjoyed the beach.   On our return to Kingston, Sunday afternoon, we visited relatives in Westmoreland.    Sister Malvie was surprised.  She cried, hugged, kissed and wished us well.  Sister Muriel paused her Sunday dinne...

My Authority

I have the spirit of power and of love and a sound mind.  There is no justification to remain in the same position all the time or repeat the same routine continually.  Experience has taught, if I remain where I am for an extended time it means that I am holding on to something.   What is it? Have I been passive? Why haven't I created the level of success that I envision?  Setting goals is not enough. I see myself in a better position than I was yesterday or before - creating value. Past challenges have nothing to do with my future because I take authority over my circumstances. This being my initial step to entrepreneurship sets the platform for adventure and success. At first I was apprehensive about the business idea so I shared the concept with a mature relative who I thought would provide proper guidance.  He did not see the vision so he discouraged me using the experience of others.  So I detoured and went into an alternative agreement whic...

utilizing my authority

Today I choose to impact my world. The universe beckons for my instructions. Therefore I declare prosperity in all my circumstances and wisdom to manage the changes that will occur. I break free of all inhibitions and walk in boldness to fulfill my purpose to make this world a better place. To teach what I have learned and engage my audience. The above statements were posted in 2016 following a challenge from a motivational speaker. Two years later... I updated this post.  I must say its been a wonderful experience!  Declarations change the atmosphere. Many positive changes have impacted my personal and family life spiritually, physically, emotionally because I declared what I want to see and believe it. Proverbs 23 verse 7 states - "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he' Declare your breakthrough, believe, engage your authority and watch the universe respond to your positive words.
